The History of Spinning Leaf at the Vineyard

The property was established when the owners had attended an event at the vineyard and the owner mentioned selling it. They used to own a successful coffee business. They sold the brick-and-mortar stores, but still operate their coffee business. Their vision came to life about 5 years ago and have hosted over 100s of events at Spinning Leaf at the Vineyard. The Shelby, NC wedding venue is family owned and ran. 

Details of the beautiful grounds

The venue is stunning and is situated in the small town of Shelby, NC. It’s in such a convenient location with a short drive from Charlotte, Gastonia, Asheville, Hickory, Greensboro, and Greenville. With many rows of grape vines, to a beautiful garden, to amazing Crepe Myrtle trees you won’t be without beautiful portraits on your wedding day. It also features breathtaking views of the North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains. Making it a perfect Charlotte, NC wedding venue.

About the Modern Barn/ Ballroom

The grounds boast a beautiful, modern barn with 2 different feels inside. One reception area features a traditional barn with the wood walls and ceiling. While the bigger room screams more elegance and modern ballroom. The venue also includes up-lighting to make the ballroom more unique to your wedding day! 

The Getting Ready Rooms

Among the beautiful vineyards, gardens, and modern barn you will find 2 rooms for getting ready for the couple. The bridal room is spacious enough for you and a few of your friends to get ready. It also has mirrors for those last-minute touch ups you may need. Just a few doors down from that you will find the other getting ready room to avoid any glimpse of your soon to be spouse! 

General Details

Spinning Leaf is an all-inclusive wedding Venue just outside of Charlotte, NC. With a starting price of 4,500 to host your wedding. They include tables, chairs, linens, catering supplies, and set up/ takedown services. You can also rent décor items from them. This price also includes a 2-hour photo shoot for engagement photos or bridal portraits. 

Spinning Leaf also offers bar services (Cash or open), patio heaters, open flame s’mores bar, a fire ring with benches, and much more for an additional fee.
