Big weddings just call to my heart. I tear up during the vows, and daddy daughter dances. I adore the fact that I get to share in so many couples big days. I love being included in those happy moments life gives us.
A fun fact about me: Before we had our last 3 kiddos, I volunteered for 10 years as a firefighter/ EMT. My dad was actually one of my teachers. My idea of a fun time would be seeing adventures through my kids and hubby's eyes. Nothing beats watching them dive off the diving board for the first time, or riding their bike with no training wheels, or how my husband is one of the best dad's out there. I always say you never know how much you love your hubby until you see how he loves his kids.

I really turned all of this into a business when my husband and I had a terrible experience with photos and knew I didn't want anyone else to have the same experience. Then, I photographed a wedding. Thats when my love for weddings really hit home.
So, I upgraded my camera, and the rest was history. (j.k. there's more...)
My Nanny was the first one to ever buy me a camera. I fell in love with photography. However, I didn't really pursue the business until years later. My Nanny has always had a huge impact on my life. So if you look at all my branding aspects she is in it all (I also included my late mother-in-law). The gold is for the sunflowers my Nanny loved and the blue is for the hydrangea's my MIL loved. Bella Ann is because both of their middle names were Ann, and they were the most beautiful souls.
A few other interesting facts out side of family and photography:
I love burritos. One of my favorite burrito places is Bonfires in Goldsboro, NC (Their sweet and spicy salsa is literally heaven on earth).
There is nothing more relaxing than a trip to Target or Hobby Lobby.
Fall is my favorite time of year because I love being able to wear jeans and a tee and being comfortable outside.
We then had to relocate and re-build our business. That was so hard, but I made some of my best friends with photographers in Goldsboro, NC.
We then relocated again and we are now in the Hickory, NC area living the best life with our 4 kiddos. We have recently bought a home and are currently (really slowly) updating it. During the summer we are loving spending time as a family in our pool!
