Lake Hickory Wedding | A Beautiful Early Morning Wedding

Wedding
Couple during their Lake Hickory Wedding

When Grace reached out to me, I just knew I had to help her. With a big wedding planned in November of this year, moving it to May in Beau’s Aunt’s yard wasn’t easy. They pulled off this early morning Lake Hickory Wedding with just a few weeks to plan it. The big wedding will continue to go on as a huge party and celebration for their friends and family.

This day was filled with many laughs and tears. It was such a bittersweet day. Beau’s dad received the devastating news of pancreatic cancer. It was so crucial to Beau, Grace, and their families that Beau’s dad would be able to witness their wedding. It may not have been the huge wedding Grace and Beau imagined, but it was perfect because the whole family would be able to be present.

With about two weeks to plan, they had a cake, florals, event rentals, an officiant, a dress, and nice blazer, and a make-up artist. The few days leading up to the wedding weather looked like it may not let them have the outdoor ceremony they wanted. However, on the morning of the wedding, the sun was shining, and it turned out to be the perfect day.

There were so many special touches throughout the day that couldn’t be more Beau and Grace. From having their fur babies walk down the aisle to her flowers matching her dress perfectly, a gorgeous backdrop on Beau’s family’s land, and Beau’s best friend marrying them. Even if they tried, this day could not have been more Beau and Grace.

Grace and Beau tied the knot right in front of Lake Hickory with friends and family surrounding them. After the ceremony, they were able to have lots of family photos, some portraits of them and with their pups, some fantastic BBQ, and a cake that was just as delicious as it looked.

As of now, Beau’s dad is in good spirits. He is resting at home while being cared for in Hospice. It was my honor to have met him and see his family’s love for him. His pride for Beau, Grace, and the rest of his family was shown in so many ways by him. Grace, Beau, and The Rowe family, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding,
