Brittany and Tyler’s wedding took place in the foothills of North Carolina in Booneville, which is located in the Yadkin Valley. The Barn at Cranberry Creek is just a beautiful barn that I love to photograph at. Even though it was cloudy and raining for the better part of the day, we got some sun for some of the most beautiful portraits. Between the wooded areas and mountain views, it is a photographer’s dream.

I absolutely loved being a part of Brittany and Tyler’s special day! As any photographer would, I checked the weather religiously the whole week before the wedding. It was supposed to be a beautiful day with just some clouds. About 45 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, the darkest storm cloud came through and dumped rain on the venue. Brittany had her heart set on an outdoor wedding. Well, we can’t have a wedding without a bride and groom. So she decided to push her wedding back a bit, and about an hour later, the skies cleared up, and we were able to have the most beautiful outdoor wedding. This would not have been possible with our dream team of vendors. (Seriously, they were all fantastic and saving graces). However, Brittany and Tyler were the real heroes here. They just went with it and knew it would be perfect because they were marrying each other at the end of the day.

Brittany and Tyler are high school sweethearts. They seriously have the sweetest love for each other. You can see how they light up each other’s world, how their families talk about them, their friends support them, and just the way they look at each other.
