Adaumont Farms Modern Barn Venue 

I first came across Adaumont farm when I was asked to assist one of my favorite photographers for a wedding many years ago. Of course, before every wedding I always try to ride by or at least google to see what I am working with venue wise. It gives me an idea of locations for portraits, what kind of lighting I will possibly need, and so many more things. I won’t bore you with those details because there is so much to cover about this gorgeous venue. All I could think while googling Adaumont Farms is wow, this wedding venue is stunning. 

Let me start off by saying images never do this place justice. It so amazing and serene. When arriving at Adaumont farms you will drive across a beautiful stone bridge and continue down a dirt path lines with the most beautiful trees. While driving you will just have your breath taken with the view of their lakwe and rolling hills of their pastures. Then as you come to the barn and it’s just phenomenal your jaw really does drop. 

What makes Adaumont Farms a perfect wedding venue? 

For me, it’s all the amazing locations for photos, separate getting ready areas for the couple, a modern elegance touch on a barn wedding, multiple ceremony sites, and the staff. They are amazing as well. It also doesn’t hurt that they are conveniently located right outside of Winston Salem for accommodations for your guests. 

The Bridal Suite: 

With 3 separate modern rooms, there will be plenty of room for you and your girls to get ready. All the rooms are decorated with such an elegance you can’t help but feel like a princess while getting ready. All the rooms boast floor length mirrors for ease of getting ready and those cute mirror selfies with your bridal party.

The Groom’s Lodge: 

It is just perfect for the guys. It’s 1200 sq ft of comfort, fun, and convenience. Featuring a tv, pool table, dressing area, fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom. Walk right out the door and you will find a covered pavilion with picnic tables, grills, fireplace, and swings. Right past that you will find a skeet shooting range with a sporting clay course. 

The Pergola

When you drive you to the barn you will notice that there is this gorgeous Pergola overlooking their 30-acre lake with a stone patio. This will make the most gorgeous back drop of portraits or your ceremony. The sun will sit behind you giving you the most dreamy glow for your wedding ceremony portraits.  Also, with it being outdoors on the lawn there is a generous amount of space for large or small ceremonies.  

The Barn

As you walk into the barn you will find a huge open space with draped ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers. The draped ceiling and chandeliers give this barn a touch of elegance that can’t be denied.  There is over 2500 sq feet where you can have a huge party or there are locations of too the side for more of an intimate conversation for your guest. The covered porch also give your guest a chance to catch their breath after dancing their heart outs. In the barn there are 2 areas to have your ceremony. You can choose to have it in front of their gorgeous arched barn doors for a more rustic background or the drapes for a more modern back drop. 

Portrait Locations: 

I don’t even know where to begin here. The number of different locations you have for your beautiful portraits is endless. First, you have the stone bridge entry way. The lighting here is gorgeous, and it just makes the most epic backdrop. This is one of my favorite portrait locations. 

Second, the covered bridge. The dirt path leads to this amazing, covered bridge and on the side, you will find a gorgeous white fence giving you 2 different looks in one location for amazing portraits. 

Third, fields galore. You have so many different views in the never-ending fields. Lake views, trees, fences, and so many more. Close to the lake in the field you will find the cutest tree swing for fun but romantic portraits of you and your new spouse. 

Fourth, the amazing barn. You have the covered patio and the beautiful arched door and will definitely give you a country chic backdrop. 

General Information: 

When choosing your perfect wedding venue there are so many things to take into consideration. A lot of frequently asked questions are price, what does it include, how far in advance should you book? Don’t fret, I have done some of the research for you. 

Adaumont Farms prices start at 9500.00 for peak wedding days. 8500.00 for Saturdays that aren’t peak wedding season. This is usually December- Feburary or March. They do recommend booking about 1-1.5 years in advance. In this price you also receive tables and chairs and 3 hours of session time for your engagement session or bridal session. What makes this even better is they allow you to split the time between 2 sessions if you want to! 

They can accommodate up to 250 guests so none of your friends and family feel left you. 

Another thing to keep in mind is a lot of venues like you to use their preferred caterer or vendors. Adaumont Farms allows you to use any vendor you would like as long as they are insured. As a Winston-Salem wedding photographer, I always recommend you making sure every vendor is insured.
