Ashley and Jonah had their beautiful Reynolda Gardens Engagement session in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. For those of you who aren’t familiar with these breathtaking grounds, the Reynolda Gardens was once the estate of prominent and influential North Carolinians, R.J. and Katharine Reynolds. With over 134-acres, the grounds are composed of perfectly manicured gardens, a village boasting original buildings and a museum of American art; there was no shortage of stunning backgrounds to capture romantic, dreamy moments. Add in that gorgeous sunlight and you have portraits that this couple will treasure for a lifetime!

Ashley and Jonah had such ease in front of the camera. These two posed effortlessly, transitioning from one position to another without much direction from me! But what I loved the most is how the love they share for each other, just flowed between them and was captured in all their pictures. From the way Jonah always seemed to be touching Ashley, to the sweet forehead kisses that they gave each other, to the smiles that lit up their faces, you can just see the love they have for one another. Their love is really something special!

While photographing these two was such a breeze, my absolute favorite part of their session was the laughs. The three of us got along so well and enjoyed each other’s company. It was almost like we were three friends hanging out, with one friend having a really super fancy camera! But really, I always enjoy it when my couple and I meld well because it truly makes my job that much easier.

Ashley and Jonah, thank you for allowing me to capture this chapter in your lives. It was such an honor to meet you at the elegant Reynolda Gardens, with the glorious North Carolina sun, taking photos that represent the deep love and friendship you two share.

I can’t wait to capture your wedding next April at one of my all-time favorite venues, Sanders Ridge Winery. Ashley I can’t wait to see the stunning bride you’ll be and Jonah what a handsome groom you’ll make. Here’s to April 30, 2022!
